Week van de Circulaire Economie
Future Textile Symposium II
Join us for the second time to the in-person textiles symposium in collaboration with SustainaLab | Clean & Unique | Circular Textiles Amsterdam
Organized to rethink how we design, use, and reuse products, SustainaLab and Clean & Unique are proud to host the second edition of this Circular Textiles Conference. After the great success of last year’s event, we are once again opening our doors as an official hub and closing symposium of the Circular Economy Week to showcase innovative approaches to building a circular economy.
Join us for an inspiring day dedicated to fostering connections and collaboration in the transition towards a local, circular, and regenerative textile economy. Organized in collaboration with Clean & Unique, an award-winning platform that simplifies sustainability by connecting fashion brands with experts to build ethical and transparent supply chains. This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with industry pioneers, gain insights into the latest research on reducing environmental impacts caused by microfibers, and establish new partnerships for future collaboration.
The conference consists of several separate events, allowing you to attend the full day or register for individual sessions based on your interests and availability. In between events, participants are welcome to use the workspaces in Matrix ONE.

Clean & Unique | Pre Opening Festive Ragnarok | Zwolle
Set within the inspiring makers’ space of Ragnarok in Zwolle, this special afternoon brings together a community of designers, makers, thinkers, and doers who are actively shaping the future of textiles.
At the heart of this gathering is a shared principle: use what is already there. Together with Ragnarok, we explore how existing materials, knowledge, and systems can become the foundation for a new, circular textile economy.
We are proud to welcome contributions from Aarden, Erik Toenake, and Bas Slootman (The Fabric Connector) — each bringing their own perspective on rethinking resources, reconnecting supply chains, and unlocking the value of what already exists.
In addition, Niki de Schrijver (COSH! Conscious Shopping) will share insights into building both physical and digital shopping routes in cities. After successfully introducing COSH! in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Arnhem together with Clean & Unique, she will highlight how data, transparency, and storytelling can guide consumers towards more conscious choices — and why local ecosystems matter more than ever.
Ragnarok’s pre-opening offers a first glimpse into new creative work and collaborations, making this gathering especially meaningful. Expect an evening filled with curiosity, connection, and creative energy — a space to exchange ideas, spark new collaborations, and celebrate progress together.
Whether you’ve been part of Clean & Unique for years or are newly connected to our platform, you are warmly invited to join us. Come meet, learn, and be inspired — and raise a glass with us to what’s ahead.
