Ramie is an Asian flowering plant of the nettle plant family. Ramie fiber is the strongest natural fiber. Along with its anti bacterial quality it is also anti odor. Ramie fabric is very light and more absorbent than cotton. The fabrics are best suited for spring summer and autumn and for both fashion and home applications.
